Woman found dead in Pattaya, boyfriend charged withMURDER

A Thai man has tearfully admitted to killing his girlfriend in a rented room on Pratumnak Hill in Pattaya.

Pattaya police found Patcharaporn or “Nong Fah”, 24, dead in bed on Wednesday.

Chonburi provincial police chief Maj-Gen Nanthachart Suphamongkhon said that Nawat, 33, had given himself up after fleeing the scene.

The police had contacted the suspect’s mother to get him to turn himself in.

Nawat, from Sisaket, told reporters that he had hit Nong Fah in the face after she admitted liking her supervisor at a hotel where she was a trainee.

He said he was in a jealous rage after being “cuckolded” in this way.

Nong Fah hit the edge of the bathroom door and collapsed. He put her in bed then fled, reported Sanook.

Finally, he told reporters in tears: “It’s because I loved her too much”.

He has been charged with assault causing death of a person and detained.
