Three teens killed on motorbike by reckless driver

On October 10 Sriracha police and medics were called to the scene of a fatal accident in front of the Inland Fisheries at Bangpla reservoir, Sriracha, Chonburi.

At the scene a bronze Toyota Fortuna had collided with a white Honda Dream motorcycle and both vehicles were badly damaged. Three teenagers, thought to be aged around 13 or 14, were killed.

The driver of the Fortuna, forty-four year old Chinese national, Mr Liang Min, was in shock and unable to explain what had happened.

Witnesses said that the Fortuna was travelling at high speed towards Sriracha and tried to overtake another vehicle. But the driver seemed to misjudge the move and crossed the traffic island before smashing into the teenagers coming in the other direction.

He has been taken to the police station for further questioning.
