The Right Visa

I’ve had a lot of emails recently regarding visa’s and visa extensions etc. Unfortunately, it’s not one of my strongest subjects. All I know is that I get my visa and work permit updated once a year. I don’t have to go anywhere, or do anything except drop my passport and relevant documents off to a guy called Jimmy, and he does the rest.

His shop is based up on Soi Nernplubwan, opposite Soi 39. I’m not sure exactly how long he has been there, but he has looked after me and my visa for as long as I can remember without any problems what so ever. Express Visa Direct is the name of the shop; he is cheap and pretty quick too compared to others.

There are different types of visas for us foreigners, and getting the right one can be confusing at times. I’ve seen and heard of people getting into all sorts of problems with visa’s and overstays, mainly down to misunderstanding, sometimes due to lack of funds, but I have seen people getting ripped off with fake visa stamps too.

I know there are a lot of visa shops in and around Pattaya, and I’m sure they all provide a decent service. With the way Thailand is going, I can’t stress enough the importance of having the correct visa, so for me, Jimmy is still the go to guy for all my visa needs.

If anyone needs any visa advice, or are having problems, get in touch [email protected] and I’ll do my best to point you in the right direction.
