Shocking video shows Meghan Markle’s nephew, 28, naked and SCREAMING during dramatic daylight arrest in Hollywood – after an onlooker reported that he was wandering around the area ‘while high on drugs’
Shocking video shows Meghan Markle’s nephew naked and screaming as he was arrested in Hollywood last Thursday.
Thomas Dooley – who is the son of the Duchess of Sussex’s half-brother, Thomas Markle Jr. – was detained by police after he was allegedly seen walking up and down a busy street yelling gibberish and wearing only a small towel – which fell off.
Dooley, 28, was charged with felony resisting arrest, with a newly-released video of the incident showing him screaming expletives as several cops try to put him in the back of a squad car.
The footage was filmed by a tourist who had no idea they were witnessing the arrest of the relative of a Royal, which took place just around the corner from the popular Hollywood Hotel.
In the clip, the onlooker appears amused by the dramatic daytime arrest, as he states: ‘He appears to be naked!’
Dooley can then be seen being pushed towards a police car by at least four officers as he screams loudly and shouts a series of swear words.
The small towel he was wearing appears to have come away in the commotion, as he is then seen nude on the street.
‘He’s completely naked’, the onlooker remarks.
He then notes that there are a ‘s**tload’ of officers on the scene, with at least five spotted throughout the 65-second clip.
An LAPD helicopter can also be heard hovering overhead.
According to police sources who spoke with TMZ last week, authorities claim to have approached Dooley prior to his arrest, only for him to walk away from them. At that point they attempted to detain him.
Under normal circumstances, Dooley would have been charged with a misdemeanor, but it was said that one of the responding police officers hurt his knee during the arrest, which bumped the charge up to felony resisting arrest.
Dooley was said to be under the influence of drugs at the time of his arrest. It’s unclear what type of drugs he had allegedly taken, however.
On Tuesday, TMZ reported that Dooley’s disgruntled manner only worsened once he was inside the squad car.
Officers subsequently had to pull over in the vehicle and strap him to a gurney, according to the website.
He was treated by paramedics and taken to hospital.
Dooley was held on a $25,000 bond before he was released on Monday.
According to The Sun, he is said to work as a manager of a Domino’s pizza franchise.
Meanwhile, Dooley’s brother operates a cannabis farm and business in Oregon.
He launched the venture in 2018 with a potent strain of pot called ‘Markle Sparkle’ and has recently developed a hybrid cannabis strain called ‘Archie Sparkie,’ named after Meghan’s son, Archie.
Thomas and Tyler are pictured in several photos with Aunt Meghan when they were younger, with The Sun reporting that the Duchess was ‘close to her nephews’ and would frequently babysit them.
