A 31-year-old man released from jail Thursday (Sept 26, 2019) found it hard to cope with the outside world and decided to do what most inmates may not dare to do — go back in jail, the Thai-language Daily News reported.
“With no money, no home, and no family, I thought how I could survive outside the prison,” the ex-inmate told the newspaper.
“So I walked into a motorcycle showroom and grabbed a bike, pretending that I would steal it,” he said.
“I thought about it carefully and decided that the prison is my home,” he added. “At least, I will have a place to sleep and get three meals a day.”
