Hong Kong Tourist Robbed by Two Women in Pattaya

At 11pm, on the night of October 30, Pattaya police were called to a robbery in Soi Central Pattaya 15, Pattaya.

There a statement was given by forty-five-year old Hong Kong national Mr Tat Fai Li, who was speaking through a translator.

He told officers that he was on his way back to the Grand Bella Hotel, located at the end of the Soi, when he was approached by two women (he thinks) on a white Honda Wave motor cycle.

The women asked him to go with them for sex and he declined. He says that one of them then snatched his wallet from his back pocket and the pair fled on the motor cycle.

Mr Li claims he has lost 2000 baht, CNY 500 and HK$6000, a total of around 30,000 baht.

He said he had been previously warned about snatch robberies in Pattaya.

Officers radioed an alert to others around town but the suspects have escaped. CCTV footage will now be examined in an attempt to identify them or their motorbike.
